Privacy Policy

Last updated 6 October 2026

Resumeni helps you tailor your resume to a job. To do that we need your resume and the job description, and we keep them for as short a time as we can. This page explains what we collect, why, and what you can do about it.

What we collect

How we use it

Your resume and the job description are sent to an AI model (Google Gemini) to analyse the job, research the company, and rewrite your content. We send only what is needed for your request. We do not sell your data, and we do not use your resume to train models.

How long we keep it

Cookies and local storage

We use local storage in your browser to keep you signed in and to remember your edits while you work. We do not use advertising cookies. If we add analytics, it will be privacy-friendly and described here.

Who we share it with

Service providers that help us run Resumeni: AI processing (Google), email delivery (Resend), payments (Razorpay, Stripe) and hosting. Each receives only what it needs for its task and is bound by its own privacy terms. We disclose data if the law requires it.

Your rights

You can ask for a copy of your data, correct it, or have your account and data deleted. Email hello@resumeni.com and we will respond within 30 days. If you are in the EU, UK or another region with data-protection law, you also have the right to complain to your local authority.

Children

Resumeni is for people aged 16 and over. We do not knowingly collect data from children.

Changes

If this policy changes in a meaningful way we will update the date at the top and, for significant changes, let signed-in users know by email.
